So glad I booked this location. Room was so perfect and ultra clean. Have to shout out Samantha for being so incredible to my daughter. This trip was for her turning 18 & graduating HS and she made her feel so special! Made me look like a super dad and was so helpful about our week stay. So welcoming. Polite, knowledgeable and incredibly professional. She represents this hotel wonderfully as well as the east coast that we are friendly people. So grateful!
Excellent service! We had an issue with the room on the first night and the general manager was so helpful and had us change rooms. The hotel is very nice, the area is good and is walking distance from most tourist attractions, we had no issues with the city noise
We had a great experience at the hotel. The staff was always available to solve any kind of problem or request we had. They even gave us a suite for the last 8 days because of some repairs they were doing on our floor. Good to know: An umbrella is available in the closet.
The hotel is very well located, just steps from the subway and within easy reach of Midtown’s main attractions. The room is nicely decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable, though a bit dark. The bed was great and I slept really well. The room was the perfect size for one person, and the bathroom was spacious. Housekeeping came every day, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews, but it turned out way better than I expected. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, the staff here could be more friendly. My room was on the first floor, so it got pretty noisy from the street, mainly in the evenings so it was necessary to sleep with earplugs. The room itself was okay, but it may feel a bit tight for two people.
3 night stay while on our American tour.... friendly staff... good size rooms and bed.... nice lobby with coffee shop.... disappointed that room with street view wasn't accommodated....
The staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There's a great coffee shop attached, and location is convenient to subway and trains. HGU will see me again.
Rooms are somewhat small (considering the price) but I guess it is normal for any Manhattan hotel. Place is well looked after and location is absolutely perfect, just few minutes away on foot from Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden.
we stayed here for our vacation in the city, the location is great, subway station in the block, 5 mins walk to the empire state, the room was small but okay for being new york, the service was great! regarding the fees mentioned in other reviews, they’re stated in the documents they give you when you check in so i don’t understand why they act surprised
